Okay, so anyway got back marks today. It's not exactly the marks I wanted but they ARE my marks. And what's done is done so can't regret anything. Heck, I could have done much worse. ;/ Anyway, if you're curious, here's the marks i got:
Geog- 77
Hist- 64/65
Lit- 52
Chinese- 60
Anyway, my mum allows me to do pure lit. And this was how she answered my question:
"You're not good in interpreting stuff and you're not exactly good at the subject. But you do have interest in it. Aiya, whatever. You can take it but this is your future we're talking about"
And then she did this in the most comedic way
"When I was young, i HATED literature. But i excelled in it"
"You're becoming like kowfoo (uncle)..."
"I mean I scored so well with minimum effort"
"Stop it..."
"I was naturally talented. But with *ahem* like you-"
"Thank you, I really appreciate it"
Apparently, they don't care whether your Lit is good or not. lol. All they care about is you English, Maths and Science. And, yes, I CAN TAKE MEDIA STUDIES!!! [well, actually, now i have to depend on my english marks]
So! Today had to stay back for GB to do some saluting for the GOH. Ugh, I had headache halfway. And now still kena-ing. ;/
